| Leftovers: 6 FIC - 11g fl Force feed: Nutrical + 9g FL SQ fluids: 35 mL Terbinafine: 0.67 ml (25 mg/ml susp) PO Perched and alert. 6g LO. Mouth still looks swollen and there are dried areas of "gunk" on it. Seemed to have trouble swallowing food that was placed in the back of his mouth. Will have the vet examine more tomorrow.

Given 2 doses 50 mg/kg Metronidazole before transfer. ------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ---------------- Head Behavior and Neuro: BAR Other: 1x1 cm wound under chin, scabbed Mouth: plaques, smelly Ears: clean Body Vent: clean Body condition score: 1.5, 2 Wings Left wing: wnl full ext Right wing: wnl full ext Legs Left leg: full ext Left foot, ankle, digits: some minor scrapes, maybe tiny bit swollen? maybe just big feet Right leg: full ext Right foot, ankle, digits: some minor scrapes Ectoparasites: none seen BAR, standing in box. Keel between 1.5-2. Plaques in mouth, smelly breath. Wound under chin, ~1cm x 1cm, scabbed roughly. Cleaned off and bandaged with ssd/telfa/tega. Swabbed mouth plaques for microscopic eval. Finished tx and set up in KR2 - stood in back. Treatment --------- 0.11 iron dextran IM 40cc LRS SQ Plan --------- Continue emaciation protocol. Eval slides to determine any tx necessary.
